Final BlizzCon tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday

We pretty much knew this to be the case, given that it’s exactly what happened two weeks ago, but yes, just in case you haven’t been paying attention, the second and final round of BlizzCon tickets is going on sale this Saturday, and Neth confirms it’ll start at 10a.m.

WoW Insider Show episode 91: The video show

We had our long-awaited video version of the podcast last weekend, and it was a hoot: Turpster and I dressed up and drank champagne together, Robin Torres showed how to inflate your Frostmourne, Lesley Smith came to us live from England, Duncor showed off his famous gigantic cowboy hat, and Patrick Beja showed that he can out-spiffy us any day.

Breakfast Topic: No ifs or bots.

It’s not even a question, really. Botting is against the game’s TOS. If you’re caught doing it, you’re going to get banned. In case you hadn’t already heard, Blizzard recently dealt the botting program Glider a killing blow in the courts, which should lead

How to avoid automatic subscription renewal

As most of us know, WoW credit card subscription plans in the US and Europe are auto-renewing. It’s called Arena Grand Melee, and it actually changes the gameplay of the TCG just a little bit, including some very different mechanics than those players have seen before.

Breakfast Topic: Do you treat Azeroth as a virtual extension of the real world?

It never ceases to amaze me how huge Azeroth is. As I’ve leveled and explored, installed expansions and patches, that wonder has never left me. But of course, one of the reasons I like WoW so much is it’s not all about fighting and killing things twenty times larger than me. This week I’ve been fishing in the Dalaran fountain, along with

Armory temporarily disabled to cut server load

Today being BlizzCon ticket sales day, Blizzard is anxious to keep everything running as smoothly as possible. In an attempt to lessen load on their web servers, they’ve temporarily disabled the Armory. In fact, this has been the case since last night, when I went to check out

Design your own holiday

Crygil wants to know: if you could design a new holiday for the game, what would it be? I don’t think I’ve ever heard the question asked before — holidays are really just optional fun for more players, and Blizzard has always covered the basics (Christmas, New Year’s, Thanksgiving,
